Hungarian Polls: Magyar at 51%, Orbán's Party Declines

The opposition Tisza party has widened its lead over Prime Minister Viktor Orbán's Fidesz party, according to two polls ahead of Hungary's April parliamentary elections.
Péter Magyar, leader of Tisza, appears to be gaining ground, with polls showing his party securing the support of 51% of voters.
Support for Fidesz has fallen to 39%, despite the party's efforts to attract new voters through fiscal benefits and exploiting fears about the war in Ukraine.
A second poll showed that 48% of voters who have decided who to vote for would support Tisza, securing a 10% lead over Fidesz.
Orbán, who has been in power for 16 years, is seeking a fifth term.
