Two Dead, 40 Injured in Milan Tram Derailment

Two people have died and 40 were injured after a tram derailed in the center of Milan, Italy.

The tram, one of the newest models operating in the Italian city, came off the tracks near the central station and crashed into a shop window.

Thirteen ambulances and civil protection teams rushed to the scene to provide assistance to the injured. Milan's transport company expressed its condolences and is cooperating with authorities to investigate the cause of the accident.
