Two Dead in German Military Helicopter Crash

At least two members of the German Air Force were killed when a helicopter crashed during a training mission in eastern Germany, the Defense Ministry announced.
The helicopter, an EC-135 (Airbus Helicopters) type, had been rented for training purposes and crashed into the Mulde River near Grimma, Saxony, for reasons still unknown.
A German Air Force spokeswoman said that two of the crew members were "experienced," while the search continues for the third member.
Police reported that kayakers noticed debris in the river. A dam has been set up in a section of the river to limit pollution from kerosene leakage.
