Winds Weakening in Western Greece - Strong Meltemi in the Aegean

Significant weakening of winds is expected in western Greece from the afternoon, according to the Hellenic National Meteorological Service (EMY). The meltemi wind will persist, but with reduced intensity, mainly in the Aegean Sea.
ERT meteorologist Anastasia Tyraski stated that the winds in the Ionian and mainland areas will weaken significantly. In western Greece, the wind intensity will be noticeably lower.
The meltemi will be limited to 6 to 7 Beaufort in the Aegean Sea, affecting Attica, Evia, and Thrace, with an expected drop in temperature.
Thursday: Generally clear weather, with temporary clouds mainly in Epirus, Macedonia, and the mountainous areas. Winds in the west will be variable 3 to 4 Beaufort, in the east 4 to 6, and in the Aegean locally 7 Beaufort. Slight drop in temperature.
Friday (August 15th): Clear weather, with temporary clouds in the northern and eastern mainland and Evia. Winds from the north, in the west 3 to 5 Beaufort, in the east 4 to 6, and in the northeast from the afternoon 7 to 8 Beaufort. Temperature will not change significantly.
Saturday: Clear weather, with a chance of local showers in the northwestern mountains. North winds, in the west 3 to 5 Beaufort, in the east 5 to 7, and in the central and northern Aegean, Evia and eastern Attica up to 8 Beaufort. Stable temperature.
Sunday: Clear weather, with a chance of local showers in the northwest. North winds, in the west 3 to 5 and in the east 5 to 7 Beaufort. Stable temperature.
