Queen Elizabeth II Fashion and Diplomacy Exhibition Announced

A major exhibition dedicated to the fashion and influence of Queen Elizabeth II will be held at the King's Gallery in Buckingham Palace in the spring of 2026, coinciding with what would have been her 100th birthday.
The exhibition will showcase approximately 200 dresses and accessories, many of which have never been displayed before. It will include historical pieces such as Elizabeth's wedding dress and coronation gown, as well as creations by royal designer Norman Hartnell.
The exhibition will also explore how the Queen used fashion to enhance 'soft diplomacy,' choosing colors and emblems that honored the countries she visited. Designer sketches, fabric samples, and handwritten correspondence will be presented.
Exhibition curator Caroline de Guitaut said the exhibition will be a celebration of Queen Elizabeth's uniquely British style and her enduring legacy in fashion.
Further details regarding dates and tickets will be announced in November 2025.
