Romanian Senate Delegation Contacts in Cyprus

A delegation from the Romanian Senate, led by the Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Titus Corlăţean, is on an official visit to Cyprus since Sunday, invited by the House of Representatives.
The delegation includes Senators Simona Spătaru and Sorin Lavric. Today, they will meet with the President of the House, Harris Georgiades, and members of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign and European Affairs.
Furthermore, meetings will be held with the Director-General of the Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry, Marios Panagides, and the Deputy Director-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Theodora Constantinidou.
The Romanian delegation will also meet with the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General and head of UNFICYP, Colin Stewart, as well as Romanian members of UNPOL. A meeting with members of the Romanian diaspora and a dinner hosted by Christina Christodoulou Todea, President of the Association of Romanians in Cyprus, will also take place.
