Anti-immigrant protests took place for a second day in Dublin following an attack on a 10-year-old girl. An African migrant is accused of the attack, according to Irish media.

The Irish Times published a video of a police vehicle on fire, reporting that over 500 people participated in the protest. Protesters with Irish flags and anti-immigrant slogans clashed with police, throwing firecrackers and bottles.

Minister of Justice Jim O'Callaghan condemned the exploitation of the crime. Police arrested a man in his 20s in connection with the attack.

The Sinn Féin leader stated that the arrested individual had a deportation order issued in March.
