Turin Clashes: Protesters Attack Police Officer with Hammer

Serious clashes occurred in Turin, where protesters clashed with the police. The Prime Minister of Italy, Giorgia Meloni, condemned the events, referring to a video showing a police officer being attacked.
According to the newspaper «La Repubblica», the police officer was surrounded and beaten with kicks and a hammer. He was taken to the hospital, and his condition is not worrying.
Meloni described the incidents as unacceptable, linking them to the evacuation of the Askatasuna social center. The President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, expressed his solidarity with the injured police officer.
Italian media report that there are approximately thirty injured and ten detentions.
