According to Sakis Arnaoutoglou, western Greece will face successive waves of rain. The areas requiring special attention are Epirus and the north-central Ionian Sea.

The rains are expected to be frequent and locally intense, potentially lasting until November 24-25, on already saturated ground. Mr. Arnaoutoglou urges local authorities to promptly clean streams and drains, while advising citizens to avoid unnecessary travel in areas with a history of flooding.

On Monday, sparse clouds are expected, with possible light local rains in Thrace and mainly in the northern Ionian and Epirus. From the afternoon, isolated thunderstorms may occur in the northern Ionian and Epirus. Winds will blow from southern directions at 4 to 6 Beaufort, and locally 7 Beaufort in the Ionian and northern Aegean from the afternoon.
