Paris Metro Attack: Three Women Injured in Knife Attack

A man attacked several women with a knife on line 3 of the Paris metro, injuring three.

According to Le Parisien, the attacks occurred successively at the République, Arts et Métiers, and Opéra stations. The victims received medical attention and are reported to have sustained minor injuries.

An eyewitness reported that one woman was injured in the thigh and there was a lot of blood. A police source indicated that the last victim was pregnant.

The suspect was identified and arrested in Sarcelles. Authorities have ruled out a terrorist act.

Life at the Opéra and République stations has returned to normal.
