Fears for 50 Missing Migrants After Mediterranean Shipwreck

Fifty migrants are missing and feared drowned after a boat sank in the Mediterranean Sea. The boat had departed from Tunisia.

One survivor was rescued by a commercial ship. The man, who had been floating in the sea for 24 hours, reported that he believes all other passengers are dead, according to the Alarm Phone group.

The rescued man was transferred to Malta for medical treatment. It has not been clarified exactly when the rescue took place.
