France: Three women charged with plotting jihadist attack in Paris

Three young women, around 20 years old, have been charged in France with plotting a jihadist attack in Paris. According to French media, the women were arrested in October and allegedly discussed plans to attack a concert hall or bar.

Prosecution sources confirmed that the three women were detained and that an attack plot was thwarted in the fall. The newspaper Le Parisien reports that one of the women allegedly posted jihadist content on a TikTok account with 20,000 followers and is considered the leader of the group.

The women allegedly met in Lyon and discussed potential targets online.
