Spain: Two Dead in Acrobatic Aircraft Crash in Mallorca

Two people died when an acrobatic aircraft crashed into the sea near Mallorca, Spain. The accident occurred on Saturday evening, with the bodies of the pilot and his son recovered on Sunday.
The aircraft, a two-seater aerobatic plane, crashed approximately 100 meters from the coast, near the port of Sóller. According to eyewitnesses, the aircraft was maneuvering before losing altitude and crashing.
Searches for the occupants began immediately after the crash. The aircraft had taken off from Binissalem airport around 6 p.m. and crashed around 8 p.m.
Local media report that the aircraft was performing aerobatic maneuvers before the crash. No further information about the incident has been released.
