Spain: Father and Son Killed in Aerobatic Plane Crash

Two people, a father and his son, died in an accident in Mallorca, Spain, when the two-seater aerobatic plane they were in crashed into the sea.
The aircraft crashed while performing demonstrations near the port of Sóller, in the Balearic Islands. The accident happened on Saturday around 8 p.m. The bodies of the two men were recovered on Sunday around 1 p.m. local time.
According to eyewitnesses, the plane was maneuvering before losing altitude and crashing about 100 meters from the coast, near the lighthouse of the port of Sóller.
The plane had taken off from Binissalem airport around 6 p.m. No further information has been released about the incident or the identity of the victims.
