Strong Earthquake of 5.9 Magnitude Near Capri, Italy

A strong earthquake of magnitude 5.9 struck the Tyrrhenian Sea near Naples, Italy, at approximately 01:00 (Cyprus time). According to the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV) of Italy, the epicenter of the earthquake is located 10 kilometers west of Capri, with a focal depth of 414 kilometers.
So far, no damages or casualties have been reported. Seismologists are monitoring the situation.
