Italy: 'We are not ready for an attack from Russia,' says Defense Minister

Italy's Minister of Defense, Guido Crosetto, stated that his country is not ready to face a potential attack from Russia or another country.

'I believe that we must move so that our country is able to defend itself, if some madman decides to attack us,' Crosetto stated.

The minister added that the lack of investment in defense over the past twenty years has created a gap that cannot be filled immediately.
