A Victorian church in Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire, England, collapsed on Sunday morning. The facade of the listed building collapsed on Bradford Road.

A passerby managed to move away at the last moment, avoiding injury. There were no other injuries reported.

The building, constructed in the 1850s, had been operating as an event and wedding venue called The Monal. A company representative stated that a safety inspection is underway.

In the past, the church had housed the Aakash Indian restaurant. The building was listed as a protected building in 1982.
