EU Commission Seeks Input on Aviation Services Rules

The European Commission has launched a public consultation regarding the revision of the Air Services Regulation, which governs access to the EU internal market for air transport.

According to a statement, the Regulation defines the operating framework for EU airlines within the Union and the rules for displaying ticket prices to consumers.

The revision aims to ensure the sector's competitiveness, connectivity, and consumer protection. It also considers hand luggage limits and reducing disruptions caused by air traffic controller strikes.

The consultation is open until November 4, 2025, via the Have Your Say portal.
