Istanbul: Seven-Story Building Collapses – Two Children Dead

A seven-story building collapsed in the Kocaeli province near Istanbul. The incident, captured by a security camera, occurred at 6:57 AM in the Mevlana neighborhood.

Security camera footage shows the building tilting and collapsing in seconds. A passerby narrowly escaped.

According to Turkish media, a family of five was trapped in the rubble. Tragically, a 12-year-old boy and his 14-year-old sister were found dead. An 18-year-old was rescued alive. Efforts to locate the parents are ongoing.
