London: Teenager Formerly Imprisoned in Dubai Dies in Car Crash

Marcus Facana, 19, who was previously imprisoned in Dubai, died in a car accident in London.

The accident occurred when the car he was in failed to stop for police and collided with another vehicle. Facana was seriously injured and died in hospital.

Facana had been imprisoned in Dubai in 2024 for having a relationship with a minor. He was released in July 2025 after a royal pardon, following public pressure.

Police are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
