Major Wildfires in Spain, Italy, and Portugal

Major wildfires are devastating vast areas in Southern European countries.

In Spain, more than a thousand people have been forced to leave their homes due to forest fires, which have been fueled by high temperatures and strong winds.

In Italy, outside Naples, near Mount Vesuvius, a fire stretches across three fronts, covering more than three kilometers. A member of the Civil Protection was slightly injured during the extinguishing efforts.

In Portugal, hundreds of firefighters are trying to control three large fires, which are being fueled by gale-force winds.
