Norway: Explosion at US Embassy in Oslo

A strong explosion occurred outside the United States Embassy in Oslo, Norway, shortly after midnight.

According to Norwegian authorities, there were no injuries.

The causes of the explosion remain unclear. The head of the police force stated that minor material damage was caused to the entrance of the embassy's consular section.

The area has been cordoned off and authorities are conducting investigations.
