Seven police officers were injured today in the city of Mykolaiv, southern Ukraine, two of them seriously, in a new attack against law enforcement. According to the chief of the national police, this is the second attack in three days.

Ivan Vyhivskyi said that the officers had just parked their vehicles to change shifts when an explosion occurred. On Saturday, a policewoman was killed and 24 people were injured by an explosion in the city of Lviv.

"The day before yesterday, there was a terrorist attack against police officers in Lviv," Vyhivskyi wrote on Facebook, adding that "the enemy is deliberately trying to kill Ukrainian police officers who defend people and the state every day."

Additionally, in the city of Dnipro, police reported an explosion at a police station, causing property damage. No injuries were reported, and the cause of the explosion remains unknown.
