Ukraine: One Dead in Russian Bombing in Zaporizhzhia

One person was killed in Russian bombings in the Zaporizhzhia region of Ukraine. The bombings also caused damage to residences and other buildings, according to regional governor Ivan Fedorov.
According to Mr. Fedorov, the victim was found in the rubble of a house in the village of Balabine. A 47-year-old woman was also injured in another strike and received first aid.
Zaporizhzhia, a major industrial city near the front line, is almost daily under Russian attack by missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles. Since the start of the Russian invasion in February 2022, civilians are frequently killed in such attacks.
Both sides have been accused of attacks causing civilian deaths.
