Ukraine: Russian Missile and Drone Attacks on Kyiv

Russian forces launched massive attacks with ballistic missiles and drones on Kyiv and other cities in Ukraine in the early hours of Thursday.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported that a massive attack was underway on the capital, with strikes against infrastructure with ballistic missiles.

The Ukrainian Air Force warned of Russian ballistic missiles heading towards Kyiv, as well as the cities of Dnipro and Pavlohrad.

Shortly after, loud explosions were reported in Kyiv, accompanied by power outages. Russian Shahed-type drones also attacked the city.

The Air Force also warned that Russian missiles targeted the cities of Dnipro and Pavlohrad in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
