Ukraine: Nearly 1000 Civilian Deaths Dec-May, UN Reports

According to a report by the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, 968 civilians were killed and 4,807 injured in Ukraine from December 1, 2024, to May 31, 2025.

The report states that the number of casualties is up 37% compared to the same period last year. Most civilian deaths occurred in Ukrainian-controlled territory as a result of Russian attacks.
