Istanbul University Annuls Ekrem Imamoglu's Master's Degree

Istanbul University has annulled the master's degree of the Mayor of Istanbul, Ekrem Imamoglu.

The stated reason is the claim that Imamoglu did not fulfill the graduation requirements for his undergraduate program, a prerequisite for admission to the master's program.

Analysts suggest that this action by Tayyip Erdogan aims to exclude Imamoglu from the election race.
