Very High Fire Risk for Rhodes, Samos and Ikaria

A very high fire risk (category 4) is forecast for Sunday, August 24, 2025, for Rhodes, Samos, and Ikaria, according to the Fire Risk Forecast Map issued by the General Secretariat for Civil Protection.

Specifically, the risk concerns the following areas:

• South Aegean Region (Rhodes Regional Unit)
• North Aegean Region (Samos, Ikaria Regional Units)

The General Secretariat for Civil Protection has informed the relevant services and advises citizens to be especially careful, avoiding actions that could cause a fire due to negligence. In case of fire, citizens are requested to immediately notify the Fire Service at 199.
