Portugal: Three Dead After Storm 'Claudia'

Three people have died and dozens were injured in Portugal due to Storm 'Claudia'. Many areas in the south of the country were placed on orange alert due to the extreme weather events.
An elderly couple was found dead near Lisbon after floods caused by heavy rainfall. In a restaurant near Albufeira, the partial collapse of a roof injured 20 people. Civil Protection recorded more than 3,300 incidents, mainly floods and tree falls.
Portuguese President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa expressed his solidarity with the families of the victims.
