Shots were fired at the US Consulate in Toronto today, police said, adding that evidence of a firearm discharge was found and no injuries were reported.
Toronto police said in a post on X that officers were mobilized after reports of shots fired at 5:29 a.m. local time (11:29 a.m. Cyprus time).
Police said they had no information about a possible suspect and are on the scene investigating the incident. No details were given about a motive.
