Russian airline Aeroflot canceled at least 40 flights due to a cyberattack. The hacker group Silent Crow has claimed responsibility.

Aeroflot announced that it experienced a problem with the operation of its information systems. The company did not provide details about the cause of the problem or the recovery time. According to Aeroflot, experts are working to minimize the impact and restore the service.

On Telegram, the company reported more than 40 canceled flights to destinations throughout Russia, as well as Minsk, Belarus, and Yerevan, Armenia. Aeroflot has asked affected passengers to pick up their luggage from Sheremetyevo Airport in Moscow.

The news site Baza reported scenes of chaos at the airport. Sanctions imposed on Russia have limited air travel, but Aeroflot remains among the top airlines worldwide.
