Russia: Hypersonic Missiles Deployed to Belarus

Russia is reportedly transferring hypersonic ballistic missiles with nuclear capabilities to a former airbase in eastern Belarus, according to Reuters.
Two U.S. researchers, analyzing satellite imagery, concluded that this move could significantly enhance Russia's ability to strike targets across Europe.
Their assessment, according to a Reuters source, aligns with findings from U.S. intelligence agencies. Russian President Vladimir Putin has expressed his intention to deploy medium-range Oreshnik missiles, with a range of up to 5,500 kilometers, in Belarus.
Experts believe the deployment of Oreshnik is an indication of the Kremlin's increasing reliance on nuclear threats to deter NATO member states from further supporting Ukraine. Belarusian Defense Minister Viktor Khrenin stated that the deployment does not alter the balance of power in Europe.
