Russia: Ukraine strikes Belgorod region

Ukraine launched a 'massive' missile and drone attack on Russia's Belgorod region, damaging energy infrastructure, according to Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov. Gladkov stated that the region's capital experienced the heaviest wave of attacks. A building caught fire, and debris from a downed drone caused a fire in a house's yard and damaged two houses in the Tavrova community.

Meanwhile, the second round of trilateral peace talks between Russia, Ukraine, and the United States in the United Arab Emirates concluded without result. Russia demands the withdrawal of Ukrainian forces from Donbas, while Ukraine has ruled it out.
