Russia: Over 165,000 Deaths in Ukraine War

According to a BBC investigation, Russian losses in the war in Ukraine exceed 165,000. The investigation was conducted in collaboration with the Russian website Mediazona and a team of volunteers.

Among the dead, 465 belong to small, disappearing peoples of Russia, with proportionally greater losses compared to other ethnicities.

The BBC announced that the analysis of losses for 2025 will require several months of work.
