Russia: Railway Disruptions After Ukrainian Drone Attack

A Ukrainian drone attack caused power supply problems to the railway network in the Volgograd region of Russia. According to authorities, debris from downed drones caused the damage.
The Russian civil aviation authority, Rosaviatsia, suspended flights at the Volgograd region's airport. In the Kursk region, an attack on a village near the border with Ukraine killed one person, according to Governor Alexander Khinshtein.
Ukrainian armed forces reportedly launched a surprise attack in the Kursk region almost a year ago, occupying large parts of it. Russian President Vladimir Putin claims that all Ukrainian forces were driven out of the area in April, but Kyiv insists that troops continue to operate there.
