Russia: Four Killed by Ukrainian Drones in Samara
Share on:

Four people were killed in an attack by Ukrainian drones in the Samara region, southwestern Russia, the Russian government announced. The region is located more than 800 kilometers from the front line.

Ukraine regularly targets Russia with unmanned aerial vehicles, responding to the attack launched by Moscow in 2022. Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev reported that the attack took place overnight and one person was injured. He did not specify the exact location of the attack, but earlier stated that 'energy and oil complex facilities' were targeted.

The command of the Ukrainian armed forces reported the 'Samara' oil installation in the Russian region of the same name. Russian attacks in Ukraine killed at least three people, according to Kyiv.
