Russia: At Least 20 Dead in Factory Explosion

At least 20 people have been killed and 134 injured in an explosion at a factory in the Ryazan region of Russia, according to local emergency services.

The explosion occurred on Friday at a production facility. Pavel Malkov, the governor of Ryazan, reported that the incident began with a fire outside a factory workshop.

The cause of the fire and the nature of the factory's production remain unclear. Of those injured, 31 are hospitalized in Ryazan and Moscow, while the rest are receiving outpatient care.
