Russian drone and missile strikes in Kyiv overnight resulted in the deaths of at least two people and injuries to dozens more. The incident occurred hours before a vote in the Ukrainian parliament on anti-corruption legislation.

Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko denounced the incident as a "new war crime." A missile struck an apartment building, destroying part of it. Rescue teams pulled two survivors from the rubble.

The head of the capital's military administration, Timur Tkachenko, reported that about 27 locations in Kyiv were hit, with at least two deaths and 52 injuries, including 9 children. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported that the shockwave caused damage to a hospital.

The Ukrainian General Staff reported 1,292 drone strikes and 50 air strikes on Wednesday.

Russian forces have intensified attacks in Ukraine in recent days. US President Donald Trump gave Vladimir Putin ten days to end the war, threatening economic sanctions.

Yesterday, three Ukrainian soldiers were killed and 18 wounded in a Russian strike against a training camp. Also, 25 civilians were killed in bombings in Zaporizhzhia.
