Russian Forces Capture Komyshuvakha Village in Eastern Ukraine

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that its troops have taken control of the village of Komyshuvakha in the eastern Donetsk region of Ukraine.

The ministry stated that its forces successfully carried out strikes with high-precision weapons on Ukrainian missile and air operations, as well as military airfields in Ukraine. It also announced that it shot down 20 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles, 18 of which were over the Moscow-annexed Crimea.

In a previous announcement, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that it had destroyed 86 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles overnight.

Reuters news agency notes that it cannot independently verify the information.
