Russian Airstrike in Kharkiv: Infant and Children Among Injured

At least 11 people were injured yesterday, Friday, in Kharkiv, Ukraine, following a Russian drone strike. According to regional governor Oleh Syniehubov, the injured include a 5-month-old infant and two children, ages 9 and 10.
Russian forces have intensified attacks in the Kharkiv region, near the Russian border. On Friday, a 75-year-old woman was killed and two men were injured in another Russian attack.
Meanwhile, Russian opposition activist Ilya Yashin, in a speech in Belgrade, called on Europe to recognize Ukraine as a European country and the Ukrainian army as a European army. Yashin, who had been imprisoned for criticizing the invasion, noted that the Ukrainian army is protecting Europe from Russian aggression.
Since 2022, more than 74,000 Russians have settled in Serbia, many to avoid conscription or persecution. Yashin's visit to Belgrade may further complicate Serbian-Russian relations.
