Russian Bombardments Cause Power Outages in Ukraine

Russian drone bombardments caused power outages in the Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions of Ukraine, according to the Ukrainian energy company Ukrenergo.
The governor of Dnipropetrovsk, Vladislav Khaivanenko, confirmed the damage to critical infrastructure. In Zaporizhzhia, Governor Ivan Fedorov reported that power had been restored to key facilities and work is ongoing.
Since the start of the invasion in 2022, Russia has intensified attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure, particularly in recent months. Yesterday, Ukrainian authorities reported that two people were killed and eight injured in Russian strikes on ports near Odesa.
