4.5 Richter Earthquake off Crete

An earthquake of magnitude 4.5 on the Richter scale occurred late Tuesday afternoon in a sea area off Crete.

According to the analysis of the Geodynamic Institute, the earthquake had a focal depth of 62.9 kilometers. The epicenter is located 116 km southwest of Kythira.
