4.8 Magnitude Earthquake off Crete

An earthquake measuring 4.8 on the Richter scale struck off the coast of Crete, 33 minutes after midnight on Saturday.

The epicenter was located 44 kilometers west of Palaiochora, Chania, with a focal depth of 27 kilometers, according to the Automatic Solution of the Geodynamic Institute.
