Seoul: Hologram Police Officer Reduced Crime by 22%

A hologram police officer in Seoul has reduced crime by 22% in a specific area. This technology is being used in parks and busy areas.

The company Hologrammica created the 3D police officer for a pilot installation in October of last year. According to the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency, crimes in the park area decreased by approximately 22% after the hologram was installed.

The head of the Jungbu Police Station, Ahn Dong-hyun, stated that the hologram sign has been established as a smart security device. Authorities are considering expanding the use of holograms and AI technologies in policing to other areas of the city.
