Over 50 people have been arrested in Serbia during protests related to Novi Sad. The protests took place in various cities, including Belgrade and Novi Sad, following the collapse of a railway station roof in November 2023, which resulted in the death of 16 people.

Protesters accuse the government of Aleksandar Vučić of corruption and demand justice for the victims of the tragedy. According to local media, police arrested protesters, and the prosecutor's office announced that anyone who attacked the authorities would be arrested.

A 27-year-old protester, Zoran, told protothema.gr that the protests are peaceful and that the government is trying to portray them as violent. He also stated that many Serbians do not support Vučić.

Six people have been arrested so far in connection with the tragedy, including Tomislav Momirović, Minister of Construction and Infrastructure from 2020-2022.
