Spain Train Crash: Drone Footage Shows Devastation

At least 39 people were killed and 152 injured in a train accident in Andalusia, Spain, when a high-speed train operated by the private company Iryo derailed and collided with a Renfe train. The accident occurred near Adamuz, in the province of CĂłrdoba.
Drone footage released by the Spanish Civil Guard (Guardia Civil) shows the extent of the devastation. Transport Minister Óscar Puente warned that the death toll may rise. Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez visited the scene of the tragedy.
According to Iryo, the train's last inspection was on Thursday. King Felipe and Queen Letizia, who were in Athens, expressed their sorrow for the accident.
The causes of the collision are under investigation. High-speed train traffic in the area has been suspended.
