Sicily: 2-Year-Old Boy Drowns in Inflatable Pool

A tragedy occurred in Santa Croce Camerina, Sicily, where a two-year-old boy drowned in an inflatable pool.

The child, little Raffaele Sallemi, escaped the attention of adults and fell into the pool located on the veranda of the house. Despite the efforts of the family and rescuers, the child could not be revived.

The Carabinieri are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
