Sweden: One Dead in Shooting Near Mosque

One person was killed and another injured in a shooting near a mosque in the city of Ă–rebro, Sweden. Police announced that the incident is believed to be related to rivalries between organized crime gangs.
A man, approximately 25 years old, succumbed to his injuries in the hospital. Police are investigating the case as attempted murder and are searching for a suspect. No immediate arrests have been made.
Sweden has been grappling with a wave of gang-related violence for over a decade. Investigators believe that the latest armed attack could be a similar case.
In February, 10 students and teachers were killed in a shooting incident in Ă–rebro, approximately 200 km west of Stockholm. The perpetrator was a former student who committed suicide and had no connection to criminal gangs.
