Military Helicopter Crashes in Saxony

A military helicopter crashed earlier today in the Mulde river, northeast of Leipzig, according to police. There is no information about the occupants.

Police were notified by canoe-kayak athletes who spotted helicopter parts and a large amount of fuel in the water. Special rescue teams are operating in the area.

According to the BILD newspaper, the pilot is missing, and approaching the wreckage is difficult due to kerosene.
