A collision between two trains carrying tourists to Machu Picchu in Peru has resulted in injuries to at least fifteen people, according to various sources. Ferrocarril Transandino, the company responsible for the railway line, confirmed the collision between Inca Rail and PeruRail trains, reporting injuries and material damage. Passengers posted videos showing the situation after the incident.

Authorities in Cusco confirmed the injury of fifteen tourists, with one hospitalized in serious condition. Machu Picchu, a UNESCO World Heritage site, receives thousands of visitors daily.
